Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Hormones help regulate mood, energy, metabolism, sleep, cognition, sexual health, and more. As we age, natural shifts can lead to symptoms associated with menopause and andropause. At Innergy Integrative Medicine, we use bio-identical hormones—molecules chemically identical to the hormones your body makes—when clinically appropriate and paired with careful testing and monitoring.

Common patterns we evaluate:

Estrogen–Progesterone Imbalance (“Estrogen Dominance”)

“Estrogen dominance” usually means too little progesterone relative to estradiol, not necessarily excess estrogen. This imbalance may contribute to:

  • Breast tenderness/fibrocystic changes

  • Fluid retention and bloating

  • PMS, heavy or irregular periods

  • Mood changes, sleep disturbance, “brain fog”

  • Midsection weight gain

We assess your progesterone-to-estradiol balance (and other markers) using appropriate testing—saliva and/or blood—to guide a personalized plan.

Low Testosterone (Men)

Age-related decline in testosterone (often called andropause) can be gradual and influenced by stress, sleep, weight, and medications. Possible symptoms include:

  • Low libido, erectile concerns

  • Fatigue, low motivation, depressed mood or anxiety

  • Loss of muscle mass/strength, increased abdominal fat

  • Night sweats, reduced concentration or drive

  • Changes in urinary flow

We confirm true deficiency with labs and consider contributing factors before discussing therapy.

Potential benefits of Bio-Identical HRT:

For Women

  • Relief of hot flashes and night sweats

  • Improved sleep, mood, focus, and energy

  • More comfortable intimacy (reduced vaginal dryness/pain)

  • Support for sexual desire

For Men

  • Improved libido and sexual function

  • Better energy, mood, and motivation

  • Support for lean muscle and body composition

Individual responses vary. HRT is one tool within a broader plan that can include nutrition, movement, stress/sleep support, and targeted supplements.
